Introduction: |
The purpose of this site is to share my experiences, my notes, and the ADDINS that I have worked on for the XIRCOM REX 6000 and possibly the Citizen DS2..
This work was started while my wife graciously took a vacation for 2 weeks in August/September 2001. I had not done any programming for many years. I took this opportunity to pull many all-nighters and hibernate at a terminal screen. Something I remember from way back when I was single!! It was an exciting and interesting way to spend my break.
Since then my wife has been very great and encouraging for me to continue working on the ADDINS; however, no all-nighters with the computer are permitted!

1) NEW VERSION OF NOT A SPREAD SHEET with a
really GOOD readme file
and new icon. Some minor bugs were fixed and you can now use more than one
file instead of just the default. If you use it or have developed
some function files, please post them at the forum. 2) The SOURCE CODE for NSS and LIBRARY are also available on the NSS page.
3) Added a GUEST MAP.
WHY NOT PUT A PIN ON THE MAP TO INDICATE YOUR LOCATION! 4) Changed the FORUM. There is basically one list related to each addin that I have. Over the next week I will add the old posts into the new forum. 5) Changed web site but old link will still work.

| 09 AUG 2002 | Guess where my wife is! It is 1 year later. In any case I will be releasing all source code for all my addins on 12 AUG. I am a little bit inspired by Chris Harris's recent work, maybe I will do a little work on NOT A SPREADSHEET. Any suggestions? By the way, I still haven't cleaned out the garage!

NOT A SPREADSHEET Final Version: all functions work including, power, roots, log, exp. It is a financial calculator with present value, future value, loan amortization and a sample function sheet. HARDCODED FORMULAS. ALSO released a CUSTOMIZED version requested by a user. He sent me some equations related to his businiss and invoicing and estimating quantities. I compiled the addin with his equations. If you want a customized version let me know! |

UNIT CONVERTER: 1) UNIT CONVERSIONS: Made corrections to the README FILE. Make sur the memo is named z_jdf_UNITS also make sure that the z_jdf_UNITS is NOT a line in the memo. New Version of MemoCat This version will ALSO display the first 7 lines of the memo when you press "SHOW MEMO". This is on its way to becoming a full screen book reader. It will be set to read only "book" categories. For example valid categories will be book001, book002, book003, etc. Then you can go directly to the book you want and the specific memo of that book and SHOW IT. Bookmarks are coming too. |

However, I'll have lots of time to do those extra projects around the house that we just haven't gotten to. You know what I mean; install some shelves, clean out the garage, etc..... I however went on a different track, and I immediately started experimenting with programming the REX! |
